My wife and I have had a few different German cars over the years, from Audi to BMW and have taken them to different shops around PDX looking for a good fit. I recently took my x5 into Broadway for a coolant leak, and I was really happy with their service. I think they had a really good balance of inexpensive labor rates and moderately priced but quality parts. Their recommendations for other services seamed very accurate and wasn't pushy at all. I think overall service was excellent and they made accommodations for me to pick up easily. I would recommend this shop to others, and I plan to return soon for a maintenance item they had flagged at my last visit.

We were very pleased with our experience at Broadway Imiport Auto Service. My 1995 Mitsubishi needed a part that Derek went to a lot of trouble to locate. In addition, he fixed some things that I wasn't aware of and since the car is so 'vintage', I may have been sorry if I hadn't taken care of them now. And no, I didn't feel like he found things that didn't need repair. These were deferred maintenance issues that definitely could have caused problems down the road.

The starter was fixed but, as soon as Sylvia turned on the AC, the engine shut down. This was driving away from the shop. We had just spent a bunch of money and don't have any more for repairs. We also did not have the time to turn around and take the car back to the shop again. We wish that everything would have been checked out before driving away.

I have been taking my various old cars here for a decade now, and Broadway Imports has always done me right. I very much appreciate that they tell me what needs to be done now vs. what can wait a few months - very helpful if you're on a budget. And, the guys are always friendly & personable, and have on occasion gone very out of their way for me when I'm running way late, have a car seat crisis, or other chaos ensues. I appreciate them so much!
